Top 10 Wisconsin Golf Resorts: Devils Head Resort & Convention Center
Located in South Central Wisconsin, the Devils Head Resort and Convention Center isn’t your typical ski resort. The resort is also home to two award-winning championship golf courses – The Glacier and The Prairie Glen.
Both of the golf courses at Devils Head Resort are designed by Art Johnson to highlight the cascading Wisconsin landscape – the same terrain that presents thrills in the winter provides challenges to all levels of golfers when it’s warm. The Glacier Golf Course, an 18-hole mountain course, is carved out of the Baraboo Bluff. It traverses through a maze of elevation changes, narrow fairways and rock formations; don’t be surprised if you run into nature’s creatures roaming around. Wildlife is a part of the adventure! The Prairie Glen Golf Course is Devils Head’s newest 18-hole course. Diverse scenery from the Scottish-style links and island greens light up The Prairie Glen. And numerous water holes and sand traps are bound to test even the most experienced golfers! The course’s spectacular scenery may just distract you even if the hazards don’t!
Spend a day out on the course at Devil’s Head Resort and Convention Center. Tee times can be made online! And the resort offers amazing golf packages just for you!
