The Sanderling Resort and Spa’s traditional coastal architecture and signature spa treatments are inspired by the unique natural resources of the Currituck Sound. The seashell facial massage is an essential part of any stay, though we found the stimulating seawater soak, warm sea mud wrap and massaging warm water jets of the Sea-renity treatment to be a close second.
But the pampering doesn’t end with the spa. Plush upholstered headboards, crisp white sheets and coastal-inspired decor are all features of the resort’s newly renovated accommodations. And don’t forget the panoramic views of coastal dunes offered by the floor-to-ceiling windows that grace each room. Or perhaps we could interest you in a white chocolate raspberry crème brulee at the Swan Bar and the award-winning, French-inspired cuisine of the Left Bank dining room.
