At The Greystone Inn, a luxury resort and spa getaway along North Carolina’s Lake Toxaway, gourmet dining, lakeside hammocks and champagne cruises set the tone for old-fashioned romance. But we think it’s the inn’s Sothys Signature Spa that seals the deal.
Located beneath the lakeside suites is the full-service Sothys Signature Spa. A seasonal spa or romance package makes The Greystone Inn an idyllic couples retreat, and who wouldn’t enjoy the aromatherapy massages, spa robes and signature spa products it includes? Or the dozen red roses, Godiva chocolates and Perrier Jouet Champagne that await you in your room upon arrival, for that matter. We appreciated the spa’s eco-conscious efforts, including organic towels and sheets in treatment rooms and organic shea butter crème used during Swedish massages.
Live the luxurious lifestyle of Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and other famous names who first reveled in the natural resources surrounding Lake Toxaway. We marveled at the inn’s handsomely decorated rooms and you will too once you experience firsthand all the details you’d expect from an inn set in the Blue Ridge Mountains: magnificent stone fireplaces, private porches and breathtaking views. Don’t miss the champagne cruises aboard the 26-passenger Miss Lucy.
