If you’re the musical type - or even just Italian - you may recognize the meaning of “adagio.” In music it tells you to play fairly slowly; in Italian, it means “in a leisurely manner.” At Adagio Resort, it means relax and enjoy!
Even the development of Adagio went fairly slowly, it turns out. It was opened, closed and sold twice before it was reborn into a $58 million masterpiece with three buildings and an infinity-edge pool overlooking the Gulf. Even if you’re not overlooking the Gulf at Adagio, the view is still spectacular; four additional buildings surround a gorgeous 8,000-square-foot swimming pool with waterfalls and fountains.
There’s also a private gym here, and plenty of small luxuries like marble floors, tall ceilings, underground parking and wireless Internet. This is a classic beach resort with a modern twist; it’s deceptively simple, and yet takes days to fully experience. It’s also convenient to Destin, Sandestin, Panama City Beach and the Beaches of South Walton.
