If Northwest Florida is distinguished by its undeveloped forests, beaches and coastal dunes, then the Hilton Sandestin thrives on the beach part of the mix. So along with its adult-oriented aura it’s decidedly family-friendly, with children’s programs, a game room and three swimming pools.
It’s also decidedly golf, with four, yes, four, championship courses on site - together, they take you through all of the landscapes that comprise the unique Northwest Florida region. There’s also the Dunes par 51 putting course, if you need some practice or if you’ve brought the kids along. And no matter who you bring, the Hilton Sandestin will add plenty of luxury to your Sandestin getaway. It’s got the Serenity by the Sea Spa, with men’s and women’s spa areas, exercise equipment and even private massage suites. Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood is Northwest Florida’s first four-diamond restaurant. And a variety of suites in the Emerald and Spa Towers provide nothing but the finest features and amenities.

Northwest Florida is the least-developed part of the state. So a good expanse of it is exactly the opposite of what you might find in, say, Orlando. There’s plenty of wildlife and untouched natural scenery. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it from upscale accommodations - which is why there’s Seascape Resort.
And a deluxe condo isn’t all you can expect here. Start with 2,000 feet of beach, plus on-site golf, tennis, beach and bike rentals and several restaurants including the Whales Tail Beach Bar and Grill. If it sounds like a resort to you instead of a condo rental establishment, it’s actually both. And the best part is the value: as a guest of Seascape Resort, you get discounts to restaurants, fine dining cruises, golf, watersports, tennis and more. And about those deluxe Destin condos. You can choose from the one- to three-bedroom units at the beachfront Majestic Sun, Ariel Dunes I or Ariel Dunes II towers, or from a vast variety of low-rise lakefront, golf, tennis or boardwalk villas. If you can’t find your ideal Northwest Florida vacation here, you’re not looking!
Seascape Resort encompasses more than 300 acres of Beaches of South Walton landscapes.
Seascape Resort puts its natural surroundings to great use with its par 71, 6,100-yard 18-hole championship golf course designed by the famed Joe Lee. You’ll find a grass driving range, two practice greens ,a restaurant and a pro shop. You can also play its Club 18-hole course at the nearby Emerald Bay Golf Club.
More than 40 percent of the Beaches of South Walton is preserved through state parks. The area’s 17 coastal dune lakes are only found here and in remote portions of Africa and Australia.

There are five resort areas here, grouped into villas, townhomes and condos for the vacation of your choice: beachfront, by the bustling marina, in the bayside village or by the links. There are lots of freebies that come along with it, too, including kid’s activities, bike and boat rentals, tennis and fitness center access. And here are some raw numbers for your ideal Destin area vacation: four championship golf courses on site, 15 tennis courts, a 98-slip marina, 17 swimming pools and dozens of shopping and dining venues. If you’re the musical type - or even just Italian - you may recognize the meaning of “adagio.” In music it tells you to play fairly slowly; in Italian, it means “in a leisurely manner.” At Adagio Resort, it means relax and enjoy!
Even the development of Adagio went fairly slowly, it turns out. It was opened, closed and sold twice before it was reborn into a $58 million masterpiece with three buildings and an infinity-edge pool overlooking the Gulf. Even if you’re not overlooking the Gulf at Adagio, the view is still spectacular; four additional buildings surround a gorgeous 8,000-square-foot swimming pool with waterfalls and fountains. There’s also a private gym here, and plenty of small luxuries like marble floors, tall ceilings, underground parking and wireless Internet. This is a classic beach resort with a modern twist; it’s deceptively simple, and yet takes days to fully experience. It’s also convenient to Destin, Sandestin, Panama City Beach and the Beaches of South Walton.
