School may be out for the summer (or forever!) but that doesn’t mean you can’t visit Interlochen Center for the Arts. It not only offers multiple classes, but is the home to more than six state-of-the-art performance spaces. Theater and dance productions, concerts and art exhibits await you!
It's one of the largest arts presenters in the Midwest, so it’s no wonder Interlochen hosts more than 600 art presentations by student, faculty and internationally-acclaimed guest artists. Most of these presentations take form as exhibits which are open to the public. They evolve around Interlochen’s studies, such as creative writing, dance, motion picture arts, music, theater and visual arts.
Year round performances occur throughout the campus. Enjoy the summer months in the outdoor Kresge Auditorium, or check out a dance, drama or music presentation, like Gilligan’s Island – The Musical, in the Corson Auditorium. The quaint Dendrinos Chapel is for more intimate recitals, readings and chamber music and the big-time theatrical productions happen in the spacious Phoenix and Harvey Theatres.
