Jump, crawl, sing and climb your way through the twelve hands-on exhibits of Above and Beyond Children’s Museum. Winner of Sheboygan’s Best in Entertainment Award, this 10,000-square-foot adventure center is bona fide bliss for kiddies of all ages.
Located only minutes from the lapping blue waters of Lake Michigan in a historic corner building, the museum offers three floors of family fun, including the Tree House Adventure, Siegl Circus and the Music Room. Children can pretend they are astronauts ready to blast off in the Space Computer Laboratory, scramble through the Sky Crawl or test their balance on the Tight Rope Walk. The museum is also home to the Giant Kaleidoscope, one of the largest of its kind.
The newest addition to the museum is called Rachel’s Favorite. This hodgepodge of gears and mechanics work together (like the game Mouse Trap) to set off a chain of actions all started by throwing a basketball into a hoop. Above and Beyond Children’s Museum has been sparking the creativity in the minds of children since 1993 and is sure to delight your children during your Sheboygan family vacation.
