This gigantic waterfall, cascading in gentle natural steps down to the sea, is one of the best-known national treasures in Jamaica. Dunn’s River Falls is the result of thermal activity and constantly-regenerating calcium carbonate deposits - but beyond the science, it’s just plain fun.
A guide will lead as you walk hand-in-hand, forming a human chain up the falls. You’ll be soothed by the warm bubbling thermal waters in a spot affectionately referred to by locals as the “massage parlor.” And if the beauty of the falls isn’t enough, you’ll also be surrounded by the native foliage of Jamaica! Hike through the bamboo, orchids and fruit trees as you view the falls at a distance from the terrace.
You can make a whole day of this adventure; start by splashing in turquoise waves at the beach, then have a genuine Jamaican meal at the cafeteria! Your afternoon will be consumed by the beauty of the falls and surrounding scenery. The park is equipped with modern facilities including parking, picnic areas, a gift shop and much more!
