In many ways, this is the heart and soul of Jamaican culture. Bob Marley was one of the most influential musicians in Jamaica, and in the world. At the Bob Marley Museum you’ll learn about his life, achievements, and his influence making reggae music a phenomenon known worldwide.
The museum is located at the site of Marley’s former home in Kingston, Jamaica, and still shows remnants of his life there. It’s Kingston’s most visited attraction and you can view artifacts, memorabilia and more on your guided tour. Walk through Marley’s bedroom, where his star-shaped guitar still leans against his bed. And today, this location is the site of Tuff Gong recording studio – originally appointed by Bob Marley himself!
You’ll see numerous authentic writings and photographs of this infamous Rastaman. Tours last one hour and your friendly guide is sure to give you a truly friendly Jamaican welcome. It’s recommended you arrive by bus or taxi due to scarcity in parking. Don’t forget to pick up a souvenir! Posters, postcards, stickers and more are available onsite!
