This is a day of exercise you’ll actually enjoy. It’s a downhill bicycle tour, but speed isn’t the point - instead, it’s the incredible scenery of Jamaica. All of your senses will be stimulated on this day-long excursion through the Jamaican Blue Mountains with Blue Mountain Bicycle Tours!
A bus will pick you up from your resort and stop at historical sites as it treks up the mountain. To boost your spirit and your energy, you’ll stop at an open-air café for a Jamaican brunch and orientation session from your tour guide. Then the bus will climb 5,600 feet to Hardware Gap – the highest point in the Blue Mountains accessible by vehicle. And it’s from there that the real fun begins!
You’ll be fully equipped with protective gear as you bike downhill at a leisurely five to ten miles per hour through the rainforest. You’ll glide across bridges which rest over pristine streams and natural waterfalls. You’ll view native Jamaican plants and wildlife. You’ll have an invigorating, informative and fun adventure with your family and friends! The tour ends at a secluded waterfall – cool off with a dip in the unspoiled waters!
