Baja boasts a Mediterranean climate that keeps citizens and travelers warm all year round. But far from the sunny beaches lies a natural attraction that will make your blood boil – in a good way! Visit the Guadalupe Canyon Oasis and Hot Springs for a distinctive Mexico vacation.
Near the U.S./Mexico border between Tecate and Mexicali lies Guadalupe Canyon – an oasis in the desert with verdant palm trees and other greenery. The hot springs were originally discovered in the 1940s and were used for their miraculous healing powers. Today they have been transformed into twenty handmade tubs of river rock and cement. And you’re invited to join in the relaxation!
Eight different campsites at Guadalupe Canyon Hot Springs include private hot tubs, naturally filled with geothermal mineral water. After you dry off, go hiking through the mountains. Incredible cold springs, waterfalls and ancient tribal caves will top off your experience!
