Getting there Guadalupe Canyon is located near the City of Mexicali in northern Baja California, Mexico, 135 miles southeast of Tijuana and 50 miles southwest of Mexicali off Highway 2. From the U.S., the most popular routes are through the border towns of Tecate and Mexicali. It's best to have a four-wheel drive vehicle!

Fun facts Part of the thrill of this destination is your trip to it! The easiest route takes you through the dry lakebed of Laguna Salada. The best advice: if it has rained recently, don't slow down too much thorough the muddy patches!
Near the U.S./Mexico border between Tecate and Mexicali lies Guadalupe Canyon – an oasis in the desert with verdant palm trees and other greenery. The hot springs were originally discovered in the 1940s and were used for their miraculous healing powers. Today they have been transformed into twenty handmade tubs of river rock and cement. And you’re invited to join in the relaxation!
Eight different campsites at Guadalupe Canyon Hot Springs include private hot tubs, naturally filled with geothermal mineral water. After you dry off, go hiking through the mountains. Incredible cold springs, waterfalls and ancient tribal caves will top off your experience!
