With prices rising these days, at the gas pump and the airport alike, you might be thinking that a vacation could quite possibly cost you an actual arm or leg. But Branson is the perfect destination for any budget, and here’s why…
First off, Branson is probably much closer to home than you’d expect. The city is within a day’s drive of 1/3 of the country’s population! This means no time at the airport, no luggage fees and no car rentals. And this year, Branson’s “Gas Busters” program returns, so your purse strings can take a break. Any visitor to Branson until October 31, 2008 can receive a Gas Buster savings card worth up to $50 off purchases at area businesses. Just bring in gas receipts of $40 to a Welcome Center within 48 hours of arriving!
And for those who would rather hop on a plane, Branson is just over 40 miles from the Springfield-Branson National Airport. And in spring of 2009, accessibility will go even further with the opening of a commercial airport just south of the city. So no matter where you’re hailing from, Branson is within reach and won’t break the bank!
