Alaska

The United States 49th State is the located in the northwest extremity of North America, bordering Canada. Alaska is the 'Last Frontier' and most of the state is only accessible by aircraft.

Kodiak Island

Located in South Central Alaska, Kodiak Island is the second largest Island in the United States, only accessible from Anchorage via an hour commercial flight or 9 hour ferry from Homer. Kodiak City has a population over 7000 people.

Zachar Bay Lodge

Nestled at the foot of a 3000' mountain in a secluded bay on the West side of Kodiak Island surrounded by the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. Access for our customers is provided by a 50nm floatplane flight from Kodiak City, and the nearest community to the Lodge has less than 100 year-round residents.
