Just stayed at White Iron Beach Resort for a great week of vacation in Ely. This is the classic Northern Minnesota family resort with a great family feel. They also own the adjacent property called Retreats On White Iron and our cabin was unit #4 on that quite end of the property. This is the cabin to request with gorgeous views across the lake from everywhere in the cabin. It is also perched on a big ledgerock and tucked away in the tall pines for the most privacy of the available cabins. There is no way for anyone to walk past the cabin in order to peer into the windows like most others. It's a short stroll to the sandy beach, lodge, sauna, volleyball, etc. and our kids had a blast. The White Iron Chain of Lakes goes on forever and the fishing is fantastic. We can't wait to return next year!
