we stayed in retreat 16. it sleeps 14 but, only has 1 shower. very dirty. infested with some sort of insect we've been told fleas or scabies. bites started to appear on my granddaughter's feet & legs first morning. sprayed off on her every time she went outside. we were there for 3 nights and 2 1/2 days. when we left 8 of us had bites mostly on our feet and legs. all of us had used off while outside showering before going to bed. took our granddaughter took the dr our first day back home itching was so severe.
the floors were very dirty, a small rug in bathroom was very dirty, kitchen area was gross. we would of left soon as we saw the place. but, our family reunion was being held there & a family member had selected the resort. did not want to hurt her feelings. after returning home called the owner of the resort to let him know there was a problem. he was very rude & told us to never come back. i did report him to the kentucky department of health. after tax this retreat cost us $350.00 a night.
