We stayed in Cabin #4 over Labor Day weekend. The website described it as a deluxe 3 bedroom cabin that slept 10-12 people. There was nothing deluxe about it. We've stayed in many cabins in Hocking Hills over the past ten years. This was priced and advertised to be a much higher quality than we found. It was a very basic cabin.
There were only 2 bedrooms and a loft. The second bathroom was only accessible through the basement bedroom. There was no dishwasher. Only one bed had a head board. One bed was in the corner of the basement and was two mattresses with no box springs. The hot tub was not very clean. The kitchen was poorly equipped - e.g. no sauce pan for cooking, inadequate number and poor quality flat ware, the refrigerator was not full size, few glasses/mugs. The living room chairs were very uncomfortable.
The grounds were lovely and the screened in porch was great. The drive in and out of the immediate area was spectacular. The cabin was generally clean.
We will return to Hocking Hills but won't be visiting Hummingbird Hill again.
