For the past 8 years I have organized a group of girlfriends for our annual "Girls Getaway Weekend" to the Briars Resort. We love this place, it's perfect for our getaway. We enjoy the private lodge style accommadations for our group.
The spa at the Briars is top notch. Amazing staff with a wide variety of services to pamper yourself. I love enjoying a complimentary tea in the spa robes before or after a treatment in the sitting area.
I cannot say enough about the FOOD! I've always told friends that its worth a trip to the Briars just to enjoy the food. Excellent quality and plenty of choices.
We are never bored on our trip because there is so much to do if you want too. Hiking on the beautiful grounds, indoor pool, games rooms, and so much more. The views of the lake are beautiful, you feel like your a million miles away from the city, yet its only a hour plus drive away.
If your thinking about going there, GO, trust me, you'll have a wonderful time. I checked out many other resorts in the area before choosing this one, and it was, without a doubt, the best choice.

PS: I've been with my other half as well, and had just a good of time. Whether it's a romantic trip or away with friends, the Briars is perfect!
