We rented from the actual owner of the condo...thank goodness! The big nice lagoon pool they show in the picture is there, but it isn't that nice, extremely over crowded. The beach in front of the resort is HORRIBLE...its dirty, its over crowded, trash on the beach..the jet skis can be rented right in front of the resort..they have ruined the beach...parts of it is black from the oil...they stir up all the sea weed and it leaves this gross stuff that you don't want to walk on. The noise level from the street is TERRIBLE...you can hear everything. Security...what a joke...don't trust them. The dead bolt on the door didn't work and there were ants everywhere. In speaking with the maintenance worker he said the entire resort had a bug problem but no one does anything about it. He said he offered to clean up the beach area in front of the resort but was told "no" they didn't want to pay him. In my honest opinion DON'T STAY HERE...take your money and go somewhere else....like DESTIN. We drove there for 2 days, much, much nicer and cleaner beach...the water is crystal clear, its beautiful there. Panama City is run down, it has been taken over by the young people and they have no respect for people or property. I took teenage girls and boys with me and they hated it, well the boys liked being flashed by the girls, but what young boy wouldn't. The kids wouldn't even walk on the beach because they were afraid of what they might step on. Panama City Beach is NOT the prettiest beach or city.
