I found this place on the internet I was looking for someplace different in the Lake Nipissing area where I've been vacationing on and off since I was a kid. The place looked much better on it's website than it did in reality. The cabins were situated on a narrow arm of the lake which resembled a river and were flanked by what was advertised as a canal but resembled a swampy inlet. Thankfully it wasn't mosquito season. A maze of exposed sewage pipes ran between the cabins, and my cabin itself had a slight sewage odor whenever water was run. In short, I decided to leave after one night rather than waste my vacation in a cabin that was much too rustic for it's locale, even though I lost out on the non-refundable weekly rate and never regretted that decision. I'd recomend that anybody planning on going here check it out in person before visiting, which is probably a good policy regarding anyplace that wants you to pay a non-refundable rate in full sight unseen. They very likely have a good reason for that policy from their point of view. There are plenty of places in the Nippissing area that are more scenic, more comfortable, or both.
