Fool me once...you know the rest. The first time my husband and I booked the Cascade cabin, the pilot light in the fireplace went out and the directions on the refrigerator to light it was for a different fireplace (had to call innkeeper), and then the jets in the whirlpool weren't working. The innkeeper told us the parts to the whirlpool have been on order (could have informed us beforehand). This cabin is next to a busy highway in/out of the State Park, so vehicle noise is loud.

We decided to give it one more try; however, this time was even worse. We booked 3 nights, the deposit wasn't charged in advance as required (so 1 night was an added expense we didn't budget for), the pilot light went out the first night, still no appropriate directions to relight, and yet again, we were told by the same innkeeper that the part for the pilot light had to be ordered, which took away from the entire ambiance, and there wasn't enough hot water for two people to bathe! A campfire ring was promised outside, yet there still wasn't one found (other than a tiny chiminea). Innkeeper appologized for the inconvenience, and that was it. No thank you, NEVER AGAIN!
