Charles is one of the original founders of TravelNet Solutions and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer. At the company's inception, Bailey quickly led the company to profitability and has continued to oversee 30 to 40 percent revenue growth year over year since 2003. The company's portfolio of brands includes ResortsandLodges.com, ParksandCampgrounds.com, RezTracker.com and Red Rock Resort.
ResortsandLodges.com is the company's flagship brand. Since acquiring the asset in 2003, Bailey has led the site's transformation into the leading niche advertising portal for resorts and lodges worldwide. Under his leadership, the site has developed more than 2600 advertising relationships and increased the traffic by over 1400 percent. His ability to innovate and differentiate the site's offering from others has allowed Bailey to continually position ResortsandLodges.com as a leader in the travel and hospitality industry.
Prior to starting TravelNet Solutions in 2003, Bailey launched 3 successful Internet start-up companies and spent more than 7 years consulting in user-interface design and web development for companies within the healthcare, banking, travel and hospitality industry. He has more than 10 years of professional experience using open-source technologies and is a Sun Certified Java Programmer. Bailey graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Ryan Bailey, Vice President and Co-Founder
Ryan is one of the original founders and serves as Vice President of TravelNet Solutions. He is a proven leader in sales and marketing and has more than six years of experience within the travel and hospitality industry. At the company's inception, Bailey helped lead the development and implementation of the company's initial sales and marketing strategy, which allowed the company to experience exponential revenue growth. Today, Bailey oversees all sales and marketing activities for the company's portfolio of brands.
After acquiring ResortsandLodges.com in 2003, Bailey helped lead the development and implementation of the sites initial business model along with the strategy of the company's advertising platforms and partnerships. His leadership and experience in sales and marketing allowed ResortsandLodges.com to become profitable in record time, which allowed the company to expand its product offerings.
Denny Royal, Creative Director
Denny serves as Creative Director and is responsible for leading and managing the entire creative department for TravelNet Solutions' portfolio of brands. He is a highly successful, established leader with over 15 years of experience as Creative and Design Director for a number of top design firms. For each, he was responsible for the overall strategy, design, and implementation of all branding and interactive engagements. He has worked with high profile brands such as GE, Celebrity Cruises, Cargill, Kodak, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Wells Fargo, Target, Pillsbury, Polaris, 3M, St. Jude Medical, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
A magna cum laude graduate of the College of Fine Arts at Ball State University, Royal earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Ceramics and a minor in Cultural Anthropology, a discipline that informs his strategic and user-centered approach to design. His identity work has been widely recognized and published and his video work has appeared on the Discovery, History, and Military channels. He has also led a major initiative to integrate custom-produced destination and property video on ResortsandLodges.com. His interactive work has been published in Redesigning Web Sites and on designinteract.com, the Web design magazine published by Communication Arts.
