Historical

The Birchcliff began in 1917, and has continued to retain its relaxing atmosphere and sense of good old fashioned fun with onsite activities like horseshoes, hiking trails and community campfires. Some cabins were built in the 1930s and meticulously restored for use today.

Surrounded by state forest with winding hiking trails on its 10-acre property, Birchcliff allows you to take in nature while still being close to all the fun of downtown Dells. Keep an eye out for friendly and interesting wildlife like deer, fox and several species of birds.
