Family

Driftwood Lodge is the place to discover the traditional family vacation. All lodging is exceptionally clean and up-to-date; a small, sandy beach with complementary canoes and kayaks, plus an outdoor heated pool, is ideal any time of day or night from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Fishing

DNR-designated Class A for muskie and walleye, Mercer Lake has a tremendous population of fish per acre - you'll also find smallmouth bass, Northern and panfish. There is no public boat landing here; bring your boat or rent one from the resort, take off from the resort's launch and cast a line!

Lake

Small and quiet, the 257-acre Lake Mercer is excellent for waterskiing and tubing. This spring-fed lake is always ready for swimming. Or, stay on the beach at Driftwood Lodge amid nearly four miles of shoreline, and build a sandcastle or two!

Nature

At Driftwood Lodge, pines, aspens and trails are just the beginning - before long you're almost sure to see deer, sometimes ten feet from bedroom window. You may also see bear, mink, otters and beavers; and certainly, on the nearest of the lake's two islands, you'll find an active family of eagles!

Inside the cozy three-bedroom Bayview Suite at Driftwood Lodge, you'll find a steam shower and whirlpool, ideal for one or kmore couples to get away. Or, choose a smaller two-bedroom suite or private home, a truly wonderful escape with just the lake, nature and the two of you!
