Alpine Resort is an established American Plan resort tucked away in a beautiful, secluded lakefront setting. These authentic log cabins stand among towering pines and overlook scenic VanVliet Lake. The lake itself is a jewel in the woods, one of three in the spring-fed Presque Isle chain-of-lakes and truly earns its classification as a Class "A" muskie lake. The resort and location offers paved & rugged biking trails, exceptional fishing, and waterskiing lessons.
The local fishing waters are second to none in all of northern Wisconsin. Comprised of 3 lakes with a total of 1,500 acres of spring-fed water, the Presque Isle Chain of Lakes offers exceptional angling for northern pike, musky, crappie, sunfish, perch, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass.
Alpine Resort is surrounded by the Ottawa National Forest and are close to both Porcupine Mountain State Park and the Sylvania Wilderness Tract. The area provides countless opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast to enjoy the Great Northwoods and experience the splendor of Wisconsin's "Last Wilderness."
