A Century of Charm in the Mountains of Vermont
Nestled on a mountainside, the historic, seven gabled West Mountain Inn invites guests to discover its many treasures. Distinctively decorated guest rooms, comfortable common areas, and 150 woodland acres with wildflowers provides space to relax. You can choose to stay in one of the spaciuos rooms in the main inn, each one offering unique touches like a cathedral ceiling or fireplace, or prefer to stay just down the drive in the quiet millhouse or cottage. Start your day with a delicious breakfast of buttermilk pancakes or sunny-side up eggs with Vermont cheddar. Then, take a walk through the Inn's wooded property or venture out into Arlington to explore our nation's history. All this and more awaits you at West Mountain Inn!
Looking for a quiet family vacation? Look no further than the West Mountain Inn! Their spacious and comfortable rooms offer easy access to great family attractions, from alpine skiing on Bromley Mountain to exploring historical sites in Arlington, Manchester, and Bennington.
The Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. It wasn't until 1904, when the house was purchased by Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester, that the Inn began its transformation from home to vacation destination. Since then, renovations have added the gables that are so prominent today.
With special touches like deep bathtubs or cozy fireplaces in each room and delicious meal options like hazelnut encrusted Vermont butter and goat cheese chevre with Anjali farms raspberries, honey, and port wine, you're certain to find a little bit of luxury at West Mountain Inn.
Plan your romantic getaway at West Mountain Inn. Start your day with a delicious breakfast for two, then wander the inn's 150-acre property together or take a day trip to visit the Saratoga Winery.
