Historical

Newton Fork Ranch was a tin mine in the 1800s and the adjacent hiking trail was a railroad line. It's the best place to enjoy the area from the old gold mill next door, where you can still pan, to historic Hill City, which has captured the imaginations of nationally-recognized artists and writers.
