The Inn at Pocono Manor is a 3,000-acre getaway based in history, elegance and noble recreation. Each of its 250 guest rooms and suites features the architectural style and furnishings that recall its Quaker history. Most rooms highlight the panoramic mountain views; but that's just the beginning. Here, you'll find 36 holes of championship golf, Orvis-endorsed fly fishing on a private stream, a full-service 8,500-sq.-ft. spa and endless other activities. Historical

The Inn at Pocono Manor opened its doors in 1902 under the direction of manager Mary Emma Wister; the winter inn opened in 1908. At that time it was a Friends Meeting place; the addition of golf in 1912 and the Donald Ross-designed East Course in 1928 helped the inn to become the wonder it is today.
