Mount Hood is more than a mountain. It’s a mammoth playground. An adventurer’s paradise. A dream for thrillseekers and sightseers. Pick a season, any season. Then hightail it to Timberline, where you’ll find yourself in the middle of it all. You won’t see anything else like it, anywhere. Legendary. Awe-inspiring. A tribute to the rugged spirit of the Pacific Northwest. This isn’t your average, run-of-the-mill ski lodge!

At 11,249 feet, the summit of Mt. Hood stands tall over the Pacific Northwest Landscape. Getting to its peak is no easy task. Be prepared, go with a guide, and your reward will be nothing short of amazing. Even the easiest routes on the mountain require steep, exposed, roped climbing on snow. Contrary to popular belief, Mt. Hood is not a ‘walk-up’ climb, so be prepared, get in shape, and have a fantastic experience on Oregon’s highest peak!
In search of the best parks on Mt. Hood? Look no further. Timberline maintains multiple terrain parks throughout the year with enough jibs, jumps and pipes to keep even the hardest of the hardcore happy. Timberline was a freestyle leader from the start. Back in the day, Palmer Snowfield was a testing ground for many of the types of features now seen in freestyle terrain parks around the globe.
Think Timberline Lodge is cool? Just wait until you see your room. Warm, comfortable and inviting. Steeped in rich Pacific Northwest history. Built by hand to withstand the ages. Oh, what those trendy new hotels would give for just a smidgen of the charm and personality you’ll find here.
