Travel back in time; return to the wilderness at Steen’s Wilderness Adventures. Based in Joseph, Oregon, Steen’s has hunts in the Imnaha, Snake River, and Pine Creek Units. Archery and rifle hunts will find you your next trophy bear, mule deer, bull elk, big horned sheep, or mountain goat. Pick your prey and pick your season, and Steen’s will show you the trailhead start to your next big pack-in or drop-off adventure!
Hunting
Outfitters
Steen’s Wilderness Adventures staff will provide you with all the camping equipment, meals, and a cook/camp tender you’ll need. They’ll do all of the work - you do all of the hunting! All you need to bring is your hunting and personal gear. Deluxe hunts are 7 day hunts (1 day pack-in, 5 days hunting, 1 day pack-out).
Steen’s riding and pack animals will transport you and your equipment to the designated campsite where you’ll discover some of the most beautiful scenery in the West. They will check on you periodically during the hunt and will pack your trophy back to camp from a location near a trail or ridge top that they can safely get their mules to.
