Heart pine floors, marbleized walls, gold gilded borders, and crystal and brass chandeliers are not all that glitter at this Queen Anne-inspired Bed & Breakfast. Set aside the eggplant plantation house drapery for a beautiful view of the fountain and gardens. This magnificent four-tiered water fountain will lull you to sleep in your four-poster American Empire carved bed; or use the fountain as a backdrop for your dream wedding in the old-world Southern charm of this historic residence.

Historical

This distinguished Queen Anne Residence, one of five large-scale homes in a similar stylistic mode built by Benson's prosperous merchants between 1900 and 1920, was constructed for Preston Woodall. Woodall operated a large department store in Benson as well as twenty farms and five saw mills in the Benson vicinity.

Wedding

Marry under the gazebo pavilion in the garden grounds of Preston Woodall House Bed & Breakfast with one of the B&B’s wedding packages. Make history at this historic treasure and preserve the memory forever with bridal photos at the Inn and your reception in the “Cora Lily Grand Ballroom,” seating up to 300.
