Curved ceilings, Southern Pine flooring, and period antiques decorate and date the Bloomington Garden Inn B&B. An 1890 Queen Anne-style inn, Bloomington Garden blooms with mature floral gardens, flowering trees, and rich historic charm. Lovingly restored, the four Ivy, Morning Glory, Moroccan, and Scandinavian suites are a true treat for the history buff and whomever seeks a home in the old Heartland of North Carolina.

Don’t miss a visit to the Carolina Theater, built in 1926, is a rich part of Durham's history - the last remaining of 13 original theatres in Durham. Now restored, it is the only historic theatre in the country to boast as part of its complex two fully operating state-of-the-art cinemas.
The house was built by James N. Umstead around 1890 in the Queen Anne style. The Durham Bed and Breakfast features a huge wraparound porch with 21 Tuscan columns.
