Paradox Lodge was originally built in 1899 on Paradox Bay in Lake Placid New York, and was used as a lodge in the early 50's for summer guests. It was later abandoned and left vacant for 30 years until the current owners and innkeepers purchased it in April 1998 and began the long task of renovation.
Lake Placid is a nature lover's paradise. With scenic mountains and calm, clear waters, there are plenty of places to hike, boat, or just spend a bit of time basking in the beauty of nature.
For an intimate Adirondack getaway for two in a rustic setting, look no further than Paradox Lodge. Enjoy a delicious dinner for two at their restaurant before spending some time together in the natural beauty of the Lake Placid area.
