Kids Love Fun. Parents Love FREE.

Located just 20 miles southeast of Taos, Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort is New Mexico’s fastest growing resort (yet you won’t wait in line for a lift). Both first-time and returning guests alike appreciate the quintessential mountain life found only at Sipapu: a fun, friendly mountain (where your kids won’t get lost, perfect for skiers and boarders of all skill levels); clean, simple accommodations (no in-room TVs or phones – we believe families should connect with each other, not over their electronics; cable TV is available in the lodge and cell service is usually available throughout the property); and the best deals around (including FREE lift tickets, lodging, lessons and more), which allows everyone to have the family vacation they want at prices they can easily afford. Family owned and operated since it's inception in 1952, Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort offers comfortable accommodations surrounded by the Pecos Wilderness and the Carson National Forest. From camp sites to hotel rooms to private cabins, there is a comfortable lodging option to suit almost any need at Sipapu. After a good night's sleep, play a game of disc golf; named by Disc Golf Digest as one of the top five scenic courses in the country, Sipapu features a 20-basket disc golf course that’s free to all visitors and Sipapu guests. Beyond disc golf, you will find hiking, wildlife viewing, special events, and much more!

Sipapu has been a family-run business since 1952, and carries that family atmosphere to this day. They offer plenty of family fun activities from the February Fun Fest to the Cardboard Derby.
When the snow melts, Sipapu transforms into a lush oasis of trout-filled waters, wildflowers and aspen meadows. Whether you explore this natural beauty by hiking, geocaching, or wildlife viewing, you're sure to enjoy the striking mountain scenery.
When the snow melts, enjoy outstanding trout fishing just steps from your back door by visiting the well-stocked trout pond or on the Rio Pueblo, which flows right through the heart of the resort.
Surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Carson National Forest, the resort has over 40 trails, 5 lifts and 3 terrain parks. On-site amenities include slope-side lodging, a full-service ski shop, ski school and two mountain restaurants.
Outdoorsmen will find a wealth of hunting opportunities in the Carson National Forest surrounding Sipapu. Deer, elk, bear, turkey, cougar and big horn sheep are some of the game animals you will find!
Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort offers pet-friendly accommodations for those who prefer to travel with their four-legged companion. For more information regarding rates and restrictions, please contact the resort.
