Basswood Country Resort is home to four private, stocked lakes - no license needed - that are reserved exclusively for fishing. These beautiful spring-fed lakes teem with crappie, catfish, bass, bluegill and carp; the Country Store on site has everything you need for a great day of fishing!

Historical

The history at Basswood Country Resort is as deep as it is evident. A "Celebrity House" celebrates luminaries who have stayed here, including Bing Crosby, Harry Truman and Rudy Vallee; many of the suites bear the names of previous owners or highlight local sports teams and personalities.
