The heart of your experience at Schuster's is the majestic Lake of the Woods, a 68-mile-long gem that contains more than 14,500 islands. This is home to a host of wildlife including bald eagles, and to anglers it is known as the Walleye Capital of the World.

Surrounding Schuster’s Resort is a network of wooded trails, excellent for riverside strolls, ATV or snowmobile adventures. Or, take in the wonder of wildlife from a boat – you’re likely to see bear, pelicans, deer and even bald eagles.

Any time of year, the selection of one- to three-bedroom cabins – plus the “Governor’s Mansion” – is available for rent and fully supported by a lodge bar and grill and dining room. In winter, sleeper fish houses are also available for getaways of any length.
