Family

The Northernair Lodge invites your family into its own family-friendly atmosphere. Private 1- to 3-bedroom cabins offer a secluded, spacious family stay, but are close enough for families to visit the town three miles away without the drive. A play area, a sandy beach and weekly arts and crafts keep everyone entertained!

Fishing

Northernair Lodge’s private access to the lake allows for quiet, undisturbed fishing. Northern pike, walleye, large and small-mouthed bass, crappie and pan fish thrive in Mitchell Lake; if you choose, you can fish for them all day without interruption. Enjoy fishing from the dock, your own boat or rent one from the lodge.

Lake

Northernair Lodge rests on Mitchell Lake, a 300-acre, private access lake surrounded by miles of undeveloped national forest! Nearly all of the cabins sit near the shoreline, offering stunning lake views. Guests of the lodge can bring boats or rent one and enjoy water-skiing, tubing and swimming on Mitchell Lake!

Set on a private access lake, Northernair Lodge offers historic log cabins hand-built in the 1930s. Remodeled with modern kitchens and bathrooms, the private cabins have decks or screened porches great for enjoying the crisp lake air. Each cabin size varies from 1- to 3-bedrooms making them a perfect option for any getaway!
