Just feet from your rustic accommodations is a beautiful sand beach, the perfect location for a day full of fun in the sun during your stay at Pine Grove Lodge. There are no sudden drop-offs as you venture into Sand Lake, making this the ideal beach for children just learning to swim! Enjoy the refreshing lakeside atmosphere as you lounge on the shores or splash in the waters with the kids!

There are plenty of recreational opportunities at Pine Grove Lodge that your whole family will love. Play a game of volleyball out on the sandy beach, go swimming in Sand Lake, or stay on dry land and explore the area on a hike. If the weather happens to be dreary, don't worry! The lodge has a Game Room with lots to do.

Among the majestic Norway Pine trees, you'll discover an abundance of wildlife. Guests of Pine Grove Lodge have remarked that the area is reminiscent of Yosemite Park. With great hiking, fishing, and hunting opportunities available, this is truly an outdoor lover's paradise!

Sand Lake is a hot spot for Walleye fishing. In 2011, the lake was stocked with nearly three million Walleye fry and some of the best fishing happens in the fall season. You'll also find Northern Pike, Crappie, Bass, Jumbo Perch and Sunfish in this lake. Make Pine Grove Lodge the home base for your next Minnesota fishing adventure!

Don't forget that pets need a vacation, too! For a nominal fee of only $25 per night, you can enjoy an incredible outdoor getaway with your family pet, provided that you remember to clean up after them throughout your stay. Sand Lake is an excellent spot for fishing, but there's also a sandy beach with no drop-offs and the lodge has inner tubes for swimming. Take your boat out for a day of water sports, or enjoy a relaxing day of fishing for walleye and more. You can also grab a free canoe or paddle boat from the lodge if you prefer exploring at a slower pace!

Pine Grove Lodge has a total of six cabins available. They offer a single one-bedroom cabin, 4 two-bedroom cabins and a three-bedroom cabin. Each is equipped with a full bath, complete kitchen, and private dock. You'll also find BBQ grills and picnic tables.
