Historical
Oak Cove will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2010, and its original building is now the main lodge. The property is full of antiques, and the original iron bed frames still occupy the lodge’s bedrooms. You’ll enjoy your meals in the historic dining room or on the deck overlooking Lake Cora.
Lake
Swimming, boating and fishing are timeless summer pastimes, and all have a happy home on Lake Cora, one of Michigan’s cleanest lakes. Bring your own boat or jet skis and dock them for free at Oak Cove. Or pack a little lighter and have your fun in the resort’s canoes, rowboats and paddleboats.
Cabins And Cottages
Lakefront cottages are surrounded by trees and just a short walk from the main lodge. Sleeping two to seven guests, cottages are equipped with 5-star Serta mattresses, and front porches or decks – most overlooking the lake. The dinner bell ringing from the lodge lets you know when it's time to eat.
Lodges
The historic main lodge at Oak Cove, built in 1910, offers seven private sleeping rooms and a fantastic late-Victorian style, with original iron beds and many period antiques. Daily breakfasts and dinners are prepared and served here, in the dining room and on the front porch overlooking the lake.
