Carmel Cove Inn is a tranquil secluded hideaway on the shores of Deep Creek Lake, Maryland's largest and most beautiful lake. The building is the former monastery of the discalced (barefoot) Carmelite fathers, who chose the site for it's beauty and tranquility. The retreat house has been completely renovated to become the lovely country inn of today. Fish from the dock or borrow our boats.
