This camp offers guided camp-to-camp backcountry skiing, hiking, paddling and fly fishing, plus the chance to spot moose and birds. You can even experience a once-in-a-lifetime dog sled trip. With seven cabins for up to six each and a two-room bunkhouse with 12 beds, Little Lyford awaits your family nature getaway. It also offers outdoor adventure programs for teens including canoeing and backpacking. Family-style dinners are included!

Little Lyford is a unique chance to explore the 100-mile Wilderness, including the serene Pleasant River Valley from the ski trails stretching to Little and Big Lyford Ponds. Survey Little Lyford Ponds in one of the resort's canoes!

Set within the historic 37,000-acre Katahdin Iron Works property, Little Lyford is a two-mile hike to Gulf Hagas - the "Grand Canyon of Maine" - and the Appalachian Trail. Visit the breathtaking summit of Indian Mountain for views of Mount Katahdin!

Cabins And Cottages

Choose from nine rustic cabins for up to six people, each has its own porch, woodstove and gas and kerosene lamps. Included in your room package are daily meals. For a more private vacation, there's a separate bunkhouse that holds up to eight people.
