The Downeast Lakes region of eastern Maine provides limitless opportunities to explore and hunt for Maine ruffed grouse and woodcock. Surrounded by almost 1 million acres of private and public land with open access where hunting parties can explore large commercial timberlands, abandoned farms, blueberry fields and apple orchards in search of their quarry.
