Rustic and authentic, Doe Run Inn in Brandenburg, Kentucky , once a woolen, a grist and later a flour mill, was constructed in 1821 with hand-hewn timbers and native limestone. The walls were made 2 1/2 feet thick and Abraham Lincoln's father worked as a stone mason on the structure. Today, Doe Run Inn offers peace,quiet and regional cooking in an "away from the city" atmosphere.
