The innkeepers at the Kintner House Inn invite you to experience its charming history, the taste of fine food, and old-fashioned hospitality. There are 15 guest rooms, each with a private bath.

We are located in scenic Southern Indiana about 20 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky near the town of Palmyra. Fifteen miles south of The Essence House is the historic town of Corydon, Indiana, which was the site of Indiana's first state capital and one of the few Civil War battles fought north of the Mason Dixon line. Natural settings and restful views of our thirty-three beautiful acres can be experienced from a wrap-around deck with Jacuzzi, along a marked trail that winds through the woods, and through multiple windows and skylights throughout The Essence House.

Spend quality time with family and friends at The Cove On Patoka on beautiful Patoka Lake. Here, one may spend the perfect weekend get-away or extended vacation as our guests. Nestled in the heart of Southern Indiana, The Cove On Patoka Lake is conveniently located for year-round fun and relaxation. At The Cove on Patoka we offer two separate lodging facilities, the Charming Country Cottage and the Bunkhouse. The fully furnished Cottage has accommodations for twelve people, and the Bunkhouse sleeps up to six. Both rentals are only one minute from the lake.

The Casino Aztar Hotel is a magnificent hotel with unsurpassed amenities and an ambiance all its own. Overlooking the Ohio River, the hotel has 250 guest rooms and suites; meeting, conference, and banquet facilities; a fitness room; and a 190-seat restaurant called Water Street Buffet.
