Lake
Elkins Resort is settled along the 26,000-acre Priest Lake, and many of its cabins offer beautiful lake views. Enjoy one of two sandy beaches with fire pits; go kayaking, canoeing or wakeboarding. The entire family can enjoy the available pontoon, or bring your own and use the resort’s boat slips.
Mountain
Here in the Selkirk Mountain Range, there are endless single track trails for mountain biking, hiking or running. See ancient cedar groves, moose feeding in the thoroughfare and eagles catching mackinaw out of the lake. Snowmobiling rules here in the winter time!
Nature
Bring the binoculars to spot moose, elk, bear, white tailed deer and many other animals making their home around the resort. Go mushroom hunting or huckleberry picking – enjoy a huckleberry daiquiri at Elkins Lounge. At the restaurant, the hummingbirds line up to dine at one of the many feeders!
Vacation Rental
During July and August, cabins rent weekly, from Saturday to Saturday. Cabins are open for nightly rentals (2-night minimum) the rest of the year. Come up for a weekend or getaway midweek to enjoy the peace and quiet. Spring and off-season midweek discounts are available.
Cabins And Cottages
Group gathering, business retreats or family fun, Elkins’ cabins are just the thing you need for a restful getaway. Cabins sleep 2-14 guests. The cozy cabins are close to Priest Lake and many have front decks. Enjoy a meal made in the cabin’s kitchen or indulge in a succulent meal at the restaurant.
