One of Napa Valley's First Bed & Breakfast's
The Old World Inn has been featured on HGTV, and TLC's Trading Spaces! Originally built in 1906, The Old World Inn is just a short walk to 19 downtown Napa wine-tasting rooms. The craftsman cottages and the main house have been restored to their original late 1800's architecture, giving you the best of both worlds – beautiful old world craftsmanship with all the modern comforts, such as inviting fireplaces and private spa tubs. Let the innkeepers plan out your Napa Valley wine country stay while you sit back and enjoy! As one of Napa, California's first B&B's, the Old World Inn is proudly known for their gourmet food and the friendliness of their staff.
Located in several of Napa's Historic Landmark houses, the original inn was built in 1906 by E. J. Doughty, a master craftsman responsible for some of the town's most beautiful homes and churches. It stayed in their family for years and was converted into the "Napa Valley Bed and Breakfast" in 1979.
