Alaskan Inside Passage Wilderness Adventures...

Harding's Lodge is a family built, owned and operated business since 1984. Bruce Harding's Old Sourdough Lodge is nestled in the heart of Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage in the authentic Alaskan island community of Wrangell Alaska. It provides home-style dining, Alaskan Wilderness Adventures Tours to Le Conte Glacier, Stikine River, Chief Shake Island, Petroglyph Beach, USGA rated 9 hole golf course at Muskeg Meadows, salmon/halibut fishing, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing at Anan Bear Observatory. Its 16 rooms feature private baths, telephone, cable Internet and courtesy van. Wrangell is accessible by daily Alaska Airline 737's from Seattle Washington, Juneau or Anchorage Alaska; Alaska Marine Highway Ferry System and the Inter island Ferry Authority (IFA).

Families will love the homey atmosphere and personalized service Bruce Harding's Old Sourdough Lodge. There's plenty of wildlife and nature, plus fishing, hiking, kayaking and even bird-watching; a variety of packages has something for every family. Comfy rooms and home-style meals give your family's stay a welcoming feel!

It doesn't get much better: Bruce Harding's Old Sourdough Lodge offers both fresh- and saltwater fishing along the Inside Passage. Fish for Chinook or king salmon, pacific halibut and coho or silver salmon; or, go for freshwater trophies like Dolly Varden and cutthroat trout. Choose a fishing package for your dream getaway.

You might not think of golf for a typical Alaska vacation, but Bruce Harding's Old Sourdough Lodge offers packages to the only 9-hole course in Southeast Alaska; in fact, it's one mile away from this USGA approved course. In addition to the challenging course, you'll also find a driving range and a practice putting green.

Even though the Bruce Harding's Old Sourdough Lodge is only 23 years old, its home in Wrangell, Alaska is the state's third oldest city. Surrounded by years of native history, this resort offers trips to local sites like the Petroglyph beach, Chief Shakes Island and local museums. Ask for the best times to visit each one!

Set in Tongass National Forest, the largest national forest in the US system, Bruce Harding's Old Sourdough Lodge sits among an abundance of untamed nature. Here is the largest concentration of bald eagles in North America; see the Anan Bear Observatory in July and August, or raft or boat down the 400-mile Stikine River.
