Black Bear Fishing offers a truly unique combination of a tranquil setting and the excitement of world-class fishing. Family owned and operated for over seven decades, the lodge sits on Crow Lake with 214 islands and 24 miles of deep, spring-fed waters — ideal for trout and for life-long memories. The wilderness of the Canadian Shield is your backdrop for awe-inspiring scenery, wildlife, hunting, and snowmobiling. Eight modern, fully-equipped cottages and a main lodge with home-cooked meals, fresh baked goods, and carefully honed, personalized attention await at the end of every perfect day!
Plans at Black Bear Fishing include modern lodging, all meals, boat and motor, gas and daily maid service, all in one price. If you prefer, the Modified American Plan allows you to bring your own boat. Maps, guiding, docks, ramps, and battery charging are all included in the price!
In fall, the deer hang plentifully in Black Bear's fish house. This is the place for groups who love independent hunting; deer and duck thrive here and the resort maintains four cabins just for the hunt!
