Welcome to Greater Providence

You don’t have to get creative to have a great time in the “Creative Capital” of Providence, Rhode Island! Spend the morning touring the neoclassical grace of the John Brown House and the Georgian splendor of First Baptist Church, home to the oldest Baptist Church congregation in the U.S. Then, spend a leisurely afternoon in Waterplace Park on the shores of Woonasquatucket River exploring nearby shops and restaurants. However, make sure to stick around at night for the area’s real showstopper: WaterFire! On select summer nights, this art installation located on three rivers in downtown, lights up over 80 dancing bonfires on the waters to the sounds of classical music. The magical display, like the rest of Providence, is nothing short of breathtaking!
