The Timbrrr! Music Festival is a one-of-a-kind music festival that offers more than just incredible tunes. After back-to-back sellouts, event planners are expecting another large turnout in this fourth installment of the festival. Attendees will get the opportunity to listen to 14 different acts within the spacious Leavenworth Festhalle. The Leisure Games have also become a part of the event, giving the festival the feel of a backyard picnic with games, dancing, activities, and more. RAL: How long has the event been running?
KS: Timbrrr! Winter Music Festival is entering its 4th year.
RAL: How many annual participants do you draw?
KS: We expect roughly 1,400 people in attendance. The event has sold out the last two years in a row.
RAL: What is the typical demographic makeup of the event? Children? Families? Couples?
KS: The bulk of the event is 21+, so the audience is mostly people from 21 to their mid-40's. Our audience is amazing and full of music and outdoor lovers.
RAL: What makes this event unique?
KS: While most music festivals happen in the summer, this is a unique event that celebrates the winter season here in the northwest. Guests can go skiing, snowboarding or just enjoy the town.
RAL: Take me through a day at the event.
KS: At Timbrrr! Winter Music Festival, attendees will enjoy a great musical lineup curated by Artist Home (the same folks behind Doe Bay Fest and Timber! Outdoor Music Festival). Attendees can also partake in heavily discounted lift tickets to Stevens Pass, which can be used the Thursday before the festival or Sunday following it.
During the day on Saturday, guests who stay in town can listen to music at local businesses, go tobogganing near the town square, or take part in this year's Leisure Games. The Leisure Games are a Leavenworth tradition, now a part of Timbrrr!, celebrating eating, drinking, dancing and underhand tossing (lawn games)! People form teams and compete in fun one-handed games (because you need the other hand for your drink) we set up inside the Festhalle.

KS: There is a unique intimacy that comes with being up in the mountains and snow with your friends. With that, the vibe could be boiled down to being about fun and togetherness. Timbrrr!'s crowd is like no other: It's fun, inclusive, and just a great place to be.

KS: Yes, we partner with local businesses to help make sure that this event bolsters the local economy.
RAL: Does the event support a particular cause in the community?
KS: Yes, the event supports the Benevolent Guild, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for multiple charities (mostly children's charities) and has a long term vision of opening a non-profit bar that raises funds for charity.

KS: We are 100% driven by creating lasting and meaningful memories for our attendees. Timbrrr! will not only be a place where you see some artists that you already know and love, but more importantly it's a place where people experience and fall in love with a band or artist for the first time.
