Ride into Laconia Motorcycle Week at Mountain Club on Loon

The engine purrs as you clutch the handlebars, a rush of wind passing through your entire body, the open road meeting with the horizon. You’re on your way to Laconia Motorcycle Week, an annual celebration of the freedom and camaraderie only experienced by serious bikers. There’s a reason why this is the largest bike rally on the East Coast with 200,000 to 300,000 attendees.

There’s no better place to rest your kickstand than Mountain Club on Loon, which is just a short drive from the Rally and offers scenic rides nearby. In addition to showcasing the perfect White Mountains location, this stay also features exceptional onsite amenities for bikers. Come experience both the thrill of the rally and the open roads.

From June 13 to 21, enjoy an unmatched rally and riding experience at the 92nd Laconia Motorcycle Week. The Rally Headquarters on Weirs Beach Boardwalk opens each day at 8 am and doesn’t close until 9 pm (5 pm on Sunday). Enjoy free demo rides and vendors from Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, and more. Daily rides, live music and entertainment, discounted food and drinks, and much more highlight this week.

All of this is just 30 minutes from Mountain Club on Loon. This short drive places you close to all the going-ons but also offers a beautiful location removed from all the hustle and bustle of the Rally. Just outside your door, you’ll find the Kancamagus National Scenic Byway, a truly exceptional ride that showcases the openness of the area. This is the perfect option for a relaxing ride before or after the Rally.

“Our Bike Week guests are serious bikers,” Mountain Club on Loon General Manager, Jeff McIver said. “They enjoy the excitement of the Rally during the Day - but really appreciate the open road of the Kanc for a serious ride and a relaxing night.”

After a day at the Rally or riding, return to the resort and enjoy an array of amenities. Covered, lighted garages are the perfect place to park and meet with your fellow bikers. Shut down the chopper and grab a cold one at the Black Diamond Pub or relax in a hot tub. The rooms and suites allow you to recharge your batteries before hitting the road for more riding. There’s no better place to park in-between Rallies.

“Our covered, lighted garages become their own nighttime gathering place - with sometimes one hundred motorcycles on display and in discussions,” McIver said.

The best way to experience Laconia  Motorcycle Week is at Mountain Club on Loon, where you’re just 30 minutes from the Rally and just footsteps from a wide-open ride.
